Varteco, Innoleics and Inbra launch a new joint initiative to expand bio based plasticizers in Europe
Innoleics was founded in Brazil in 2007 with a mission to develop new chemicals based on renewable vegetable oils. Our goal is to offer renewable alternatives to fossil-based chemical intermediates, maintaining competitive costs and performance while minimizing environmental and toxicological impacts. Key aspects of Innoleics include:
Inbra, Varteco and Innoleics have formed a new collaboration to accelerate the adoption of sustainable, bio based plasticizers in Europe, with an initial focus on the BeNeLux region.
Building on more than 18 years of industrial success and four granted patents, Innoleics’ technology encompasses a full portfolio of primary bio based plasticizers. These products are designed to replace conventional materials such as DINP, DOTP, and TOTM, delivering equal or superior performance while maintaining competitive cost.
The new partnership leverages the combined production capabilities of Inbra and Varteco, with facilities located across the world’s three major soy producing regions, ensuring reliable supply, consistent quality, and scalability for European customers seeking sustainable alternatives. In addition, Varteco provides local technical and commercial support in Europe, assisting customers in product validation, formulation optimization and industrial implementation.
Together, Varteco, Innoleics and Inbra aim to expand in Europe a technology platform that has already demonstrated solid commercial performance in other regions, creating new opportunities for compounders, converters, and brand owners looking to incorporate more sustainable materials into their portfolios.
This initiative aligns with global decarbonization efforts, contributes to carbon footprint reduction, and advances the sustainability profile of flexible PVC applications by transferring techincal expertise accumulated over the years from all three companies through years of development and successful industrial deployment worldwide.
